Pet Memorial Garden, not for Minx
Last Sunday, before a Blessing of the Animals service, my church held a special dedication for a newly-created Pet Memorial Garden, which will serve as a final resting place for beloved pets.
Very nicely done, the garden is set in a woodsy area behind a bucolic New England Congregational Church. The garden is open to everyone in the community, not just members of the church. 2′ x 2′ plots can be purchased for a one-time fee of $100, and can be used for multiple pets. The animal’s remains must be cremated before burial.
